About Al Sweet and
Al Sweet and is a delightful 2.5-year-old Terrier mix brimming with love and personality. Rescued from a high-kill shelter, he was surrendered by his previous family, who had adopted him when he was just a pup. Now, he’s in search of a forever home where he can play fetch, follow his favorite human, and embrace the joyful life he deserves. Though a bit timid, Al's affectionate nature shines through as he thrives on love and attention. He's a playful guy who adores toys and fetching, but after an active session, he’s more than happy to curl up on the couch for some well-deserved snuggles. Al is versatile—he can thrive in a home with or without other dogs, as long as he gets the affection he craves. This sweet boy is potty trained, crate trained, and responds well to basic commands. Al isn't much of a barker, except when the UPS truck rolls by, and his food motivation makes training a breeze! Currently weighing around 25 lbs, Al is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He’s on heartworm and flea preventatives, ensuring he stays healthy and happy. While Al is fostered in Houston, he can easily travel to his new family in any state or even Canada. Fenced yards are essential for adopting Al; he doesn’t do well with electric or underground fences. To meet Al through a video chat, please submit an application online at www.savesomesouls.com. His adoption fee of $400 covers all vetting, and you become part of a mission to save more dogs like him. Thank you for considering adopting rather than buying; every life counts!
