About Tux

Meet Tux, or Tuxiboo as his friends like to call him. This charming young cat found his way from the streets of Wayne County, where he was just another stray, to a cozy indoor life that he has come to love. Born around October 24, 2024, Tux experienced the challenges of outdoor living, often searching for food and shelter. One fateful night, he discovered wet food, clean water, and a welcoming heated shelter that changed everything for him. As he transitioned to indoor living, Tux quickly realized how much better life could be away from the elements and potential dangers. He has a soft spot for the kittens he meets at the rescue and enjoys mentoring them in the ways of being a good cat. Tux has bonded with a particularly endearing young feline named Creamstick—they often share their cozy spots together. Though Tux's history with dogs remains unknown, his friendly demeanor suggests he could adapt well with proper introductions. He’s an affectionate cat who loves to give hugs and has even started sharing kisses. Tux has been neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He’s litter box trained and ready for a forever home that mirrors the warmth and affection he so deserves. Think you can provide Tux with the loving environment he craves?
