Jack is a 4-year-old male Cattle Dog who has had a tough past, having been a victim of a cruelty case. Now neutered, he tends to be on the quieter side but is eager to please. Jack is an outstanding boy who thrives when given a job to do. While he struggles to get along with larger dogs, he has shown an exceptional affinity for cattle and horses. In a previous home, he coexisted peacefully with a smaller dog until an incident occurred that neither dog was set up to handle. Jack would do best as the only dog in a home where he can be active and engaged. He loves riding in trucks and is incredibly loyal, often following his person around. Jack is well-mannered, walks beautifully on or off the leash, and is both potty trained and kennel trained. However, if he can’t hold it, he prefers to keep his space clean, even if it means peeing outside of the kennel. This smart, affectionate dog is ready for a loving home where he can shine.
