About Lola
Meet Lola, a lovely shih tzu mix who weighs about 12 pounds and is around 1-2 years old. She arrived here as a transfer from another shelter, ready to start anew after facing some tough times. When Lola first joined us, her coat was tangled and matted, giving her a perpetual ‘just woke up’ look. After a well-deserved grooming session, she's now a vibrant little dog full of potential. Regular professional grooming will be essential, so be prepared for those maintenance costs. Lola is gentle and quiet, but new environments can make her a bit anxious. She can be timid when meeting new people, yet her cautious demeanor hides a sweet personality waiting to flourish. With the right home environment and a bit of patience, Lola will blossom into a loving companion. This adorable girl is available through our foster-to-adopt program, allowing her to complete her veterinary care while she adjusts to her new surroundings. She will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested, ensuring she’s ready for a fresh start. If you feel you can provide a loving home for Lola, please reach out via email to dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and fill out an online adoption application. Lola is ready to discover the joys of life with a caring family.
