About Peanut
Peanut is a delightful little girl at just 15 weeks old and weighing a mere 3 pounds. She's full of energy outside, racing around, picking up sticks, and playfully barking at any perceived threats. But when it’s time to chill, she's the ultimate love bug, cuddling up on the couch. Before coming into foster care, Peanut seemed to have some familiarity with pee pad training and is starting to grasp outdoor potty habits. She’s eager to learn, but will need consistency and patience to fully adapt. This petite pup greets everyone, both kids and adults, with a wagging tail and joyful energy. While she’s friendly, her small size means she requires supervision, especially around little ones and clumsy adults. Peanut has shown she can handle time with kids, like her 4- and 7-year-old foster siblings, although constant stimulation can make her a bit anxious. She’s also compatible with other pets, getting along great with a 30-pound dog and showing curiosity towards cats without being overly pushy. Chickens, on the other hand, seem to be a bit too much for her, as she prefers to bark at them from a distance. Peanut is on her way to becoming a great companion; she just needs someone to guide her through the journey of doghood. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
