About Chancellor

Chancellor is a big lovable goofball looking for a special home. He needs adults with dog experience who are patient and willing to work with a deaf dog. Chancellor prefers a home where he can hog all the attention without any other pets. Once he knows you, he becomes a lifelong buddy. He's friendly and affectionate with those he trusts, loves playing with his toys, and enjoys splashing around in his kiddie pool. A fenced yard would be ideal for him. Chancellor has been waiting for a home since October 2024. Despite his deafness, which places him in the special needs category, it doesn’t alter his delightful personality. He weighs 67 pounds, is house trained, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. The Humane Society of Portage County supports all adoptions and will take him back if things don’t work out. What more could you ask for? Give Chancellor a chance; you won't regret it!
