About Pedro
Pedro is a remarkable German Shepherd who has triumphed over adversity. Having arrived at the shelter with serious wounds, likely from being hit by a car, he's now on the road to recovery and needs a foster home for continued healing. Currently, he shows loyalty, intelligence, and a gentle disposition, making him a wonderful companion. He's social and enjoys being near people, often seeking attention and pets. While he walks well on a leash without pulling, he'll need some care regarding his ears as he continues to heal from an infection. Pedro has already learned commands like "sit" and "spin" and exhibits a calm demeanor around other dogs, although he hasn’t undergone formal dog testing. He loves playing fetch, running after the water from a sprinkler, and following his foster like a shadow. Pedro is eager to please and checks in regularly for affection. To meet Pedro, contact his foster at brittanyhammill@yahoo.com. This could be the start of an incredible journey together!
