About Nova
Nova recently made her way to South Dakota and is truly thriving now that her puppies are being cared for in loving foster homes. At almost 4 years old, this sweet girl has been through a lot, yet she remains one of the gentlest souls you'll ever meet. After raising her own four puppies and lovingly caring for two orphaned pups, Nova is finally getting a chance to focus on herself. With a journey from New Mexico to South Dakota behind her, she's ready for a fresh start. Nova is affectionate and loves being close to her humans. Whether she’s snuggling on the couch or enjoying a splash in the water, her happiest moments are spent with those she loves. Though she can feel anxious when faced with new situations, she would greatly benefit from a home with another confident, friendly dog to help her adjust. Nova would do best with older children who can support her as she learns that not everything is scary. This delightful girl is in search of a foster home—or ideally, a foster-to-adopt family—to finally experience the stability and love she deserves. Nova gave her all for her puppies, and now it's time for her to be cared for. Let’s help her find her forever home!
