About Violet
Meet Violet! This delightful 6-year-old, 9.96 lb female Long Haired Dachshund is bursting with personality. Violet is affectionate and social, eager to be by your side and soak up all the love she can get. She tends to express herself vocally, making her best suited for homes without shared walls, like apartments or condos. Violet has experienced some hair loss at the tip of her tail, but all her health tests came back clear. She does have a playful side, especially when it comes to treats—she can be a bit of a shark, so adult supervision is needed during snack time if there are children in the house. Her enthusiasm for treats is all in good fun! The adoption fee is $600, covering her spay, dental cleaning, microchip, heartworm test, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation, and all core vaccines. If you think Violet might be the right fit for you, please email adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Violet" in the subject line. Don’t forget to tell us about yourself and your household.
