About Sherman

Meet Sherman! This sweet black and tan coonhound mix is ready for his forever family. Born on August 31, 2017, Sherman currently weighs around 37 pounds, but he is still working his way back to a healthy weight after facing tough times on the streets. Abandoned and wandering alone, he struggled to find food and lost much of his fur due to a skin condition. The overcrowding at his local pound nearly cost him his life, but thanks to the compassion of a foster family, Sherman is now in a loving environment where he receives the medical care he deserves. Heโ€™s currently undergoing treatment for skin issues and heartworms, but donโ€™t let that discourage you. The Artemis Project is covering his heartworm treatment, even if he finds a home before it's complete. Sherman has a gentle spirit and is known for his friendly kisses. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a great companion for any family. This loyal boy just needs someone to give him a chance to shine. If youโ€™re looking for a loving friend, Sherman is eager to meet you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
