She interacted well with the owner's grandkids and another dog, showing that she appreciates companionship. While Sugar loves to chew, having a variety of toys with different textures will keep her happy. She can be skittish around strangers, so it's important for new friends to take it slow and let her set the pace for interactions. We highly recommend bringing along any resident pets for a meet-and-greet at our shelter—Sugar will do best in a patient household. You'll cherish the bond you’ll build with this sweet girl.
