About Nova
Nova is a beautiful young German Shepherd with soulful eyes, still learning about the safety and love that the world can offer. She was surrendered to the rescue and unfortunately missed out on crucial socialization during her puppyhood. Right now, she's understandably scared of many things and will thrive with a patient adopter dedicated to building her trust and confidence over time. Safety is a priority for Nova, who is a flight risk. Care must be taken with doors, leash handling, and secure fences while she adjusts to her new environment. Fortunately, she absolutely adores other dogs, and having a friendly, confident canine companion can significantly help her feel more secure. Her crate has become a safe space for her, which she adapts to nicely. Nova is making strides in her bravery, but she needs a kind adopter who supports her with positive reinforcement techniques. Harsh methods won't work for her; instead, it will take someone who celebrates her little victories and patiently teaches her how to just be a dog. For the right person, guiding her journey toward joy, safety, and confidence will be a truly rewarding experience. Your new best friend is just one click away.
