About Sitka
Meet Sitka! This little guy had a tough start, abandoned in the woods with his siblings. After arriving at the rescue, he battled some health issues but has since recovered and is thriving. As the shyest kitten of his litter, Sitka has taken a bit longer to adjust to indoor life and human interaction. He's starting to learn how to play with toys and socialize with other kittens, often enjoying a sunny spot at the window to watch the world go by. While Sitka is friendly, he remains cautious around people. He offers plenty of cuteness with his love for ear scratches and belly rubs, and heโs beginning to tolerate being picked up. With patience and love, he will slowly come to trust a forever family. Itโs worth noting that he shares a strong bond with his sister Juneau, and while their adoption together would be ideal, itโs not a requirement. Sitka does get along with other cats and dogs too, though it takes him a little time to feel comfortable. Born on March 29, 2026, he's ready for a warm and loving home to foster his growth and trust.
