After initially coming to H.A.L.O. in 2022, she found a loving home but returned to us when her owner could no longer care for her. Adjusting to shelter life has been tough for Missy, as she thrives on routine. While she might be a tad "spicy" during this transition, it’s likely from stress. Her previous owner noted that she was friendly and affectionate, bonding closely with those she trusts. Missy is house trained, crate trained, and prefers companionship over being left alone. Given her preference for a calm environment, she’d be happiest in a home with children aged 12 and up. She has a few age-related quirks such as blindness in her left eye, no teeth, and likely some hearing loss. Missy also has a heart murmur that needs monitoring and arthritis that can be managed through veterinary care. Despite her golden years, she’s ready for one last chapter filled with love and comfort. Requirements include a Martingale collar and monitoring for her medical needs, particularly her luxating patellas and heart murmur.
