About Violet
Meet Violet! Violet was discovered wandering the streets of Houston, TX, even enduring people shooting at her, yet she emerged as the sweetest and most loyal dog you could hope for. Now she’s ready to find her forever home. At about 1.5 years old, she is fully potty trained and walks nicely on a leash. Violet enjoys the company of dogs of all sizes, drawing confidence from them. Though she's kid-friendly, she tends to get nervous around loud, small children. She knows how to sit and is making excellent progress with her place and crate training. Violet is a world-class cuddler—she’ll army crawl across any surface to snuggle with you, her tongue happily sticking out. She’s loyal to the core, but squeaky toys frighten her. She's particularly fond of playing tug and loves to chase water from the hose. Having survived challenges, she still trusts people and shines at adoption events. Violet would thrive in a home with a patient adopter willing to continue her training and provide companionship from another dog. If you’re looking for a devoted friend, apply today to let her choose you for life! Violet is based in Houston and can be adopted through transport to Dallas. Start the adoption process now!
