He shares a friendly personality, gets along with dogs, cats, and children, and weighs approximately 17.6 pounds as he continues to grow towards a healthy 30 pounds. He is waiting for his forever home in North Freedom, WI.
About Tadpole
Tadpole is a remarkable little dog with a heart full of love, despite his rough start. Rescued from a difficult situation in Milwaukee where he was found tied to a pole, he came to us underweight and weak. Fast forward to today, and he’s thriving! This affectionate puppy truly adores being near people; his favorite pastime is curling up on a warm lap for cuddles. Whether he's lounging on the couch or playing with his beloved tennis ball, he brings joy to everyone around him. Tadpole gets along well with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children, making him a perfect fit for a family. However, he values his quiet moments, so a calm home would suit him best. Though he’s still working on potty training, he's already making great strides and walks well on a leash. While he can sleep in a crate, he prefers snuggling up next to his human friends. At about six months old and expected to grow to around 30 pounds, he has a beautiful brown chocolate coat that surprisingly loves bath time. He will be ready for adoption post-neuter, coming fully vetted with all necessary vaccinations and preventatives.
