At just 5 months old and over 40 pounds, this Great Pyrenees mix is still growing and will be a stunningly beautiful girl when she's fully grown. Dana's journey began with a scare. She came to the rescue with her brother, who sadly tested positive for parvo. Fortunately, Dana didn’t contract the virus and is now healthy, ready to turn the page and find her loving forever home. Dana is a curious puppy, eager to explore the world around her. So far, she’s been trained to use puppy pads, and her foster family is helping her adapt to outdoor pottying. She’s making excellent progress and is seeking a family that will continue reinforcing this foundation. Being a bit independent, Dana can easily entertain herself or simply relax nearby. As she develops, she’s showing traits typical of her herding and Livestock Guardian ancestry—she’s observant, thoughtful, and enjoys keeping an eye on her surroundings. An adopter who understands these breeds and can provide her with the structure and training she requires will be essential as she matures. This smart girl will excel with positive reinforcement, consistent guidance, and lots of opportunities for both mental and physical stimulation.
