Dawn is a young, altered female mixed-breed dog weighing around a medium size. She is a beautiful mix of golden and white/cream colors with a short coat. Dawn is house trained and is up to date on vaccinations. She currently resides in Mission, TX and is ready for a new loving home.

About Dawn

Dawn has been through a lot, arriving at a high-kill shelter pregnant and malnourished. Despite losing three of her eight puppies, she fought to protect the rest and is now safe. She's learning what love feels like for the first time. Gentle and a bit skittish, Dawn is still adjusting to kindness but has started wagging her tail and taking treats from hands. She enjoys playing with her puppies and the other dog in her foster home. Her coat shines with health—no longer a reminder of her past. Dawn is looking for a forever home where she'll be loved and given the patience she needs to thrive. A calm environment will help her decompress and blossom further.
