About Daytona
Meet Daytona, an affectionate and energetic 7-month-old, 54-pound Husky/Pit mix searching for his forever home. Daytona thrives on attention and has a playful spirit. He’s both house and crate trained, but he’s still learning leash manners and can be uncertain during car rides. Smart and eager to please, he knows several commands but will benefit from some guidance to reinforce them. He enjoys playing fetch and running in the yard, though he’s still mastering his indoor behavior. Daytona gets along well with adults and is comfortable around visiting children, but he hasn’t been exposed to infants or toddlers. Living with his female sibling, he occasionally takes the lead. Supervision is necessary right now since he’s exploring his puppy phase with chewing and digging. Additionally, he tends to jump when meeting new people. Daytona has been cherished and will flourish with an owner committed to providing him with ongoing love, training, and structure. United Animal Friends offers affordable training options. Adoption fees help cover essential expenses for rescued pets. United Animal Friends does not adopt outside of Arizona and conducts home visits to ensure a safe environment. What are you waiting for?
