About Zig
Zig is an energetic puppy who thrives on playtime and adventure. He loves chasing toys, fetching balls, and exploring the yard. After a good romp, he enjoys curling up for cuddles with his favorite people. Zig is intelligent and eager to learn, already mastering commands like sit and come, and he's currently working on stay and paw. He lights up when praised, clearly reveling in every word of encouragement. Potty training is well underway, and he uses the bathroom outside while still getting the hang of pee pads—though he occasionally confuses them with chew toys. Because he's still in the puppy phase, it's essential to provide him with durable chew toys to help redirect his playful, mouthy behavior. Zig gets along well with older dogs and children, but a home with older kids might be ideal for now due to his sharp puppy teeth. If you're seeking a playful, affectionate companion ready to learn and explore the world with you, Zig can’t wait to meet you! He’s also eligible for foster-to-adopt for those able to transport him to and from Lexington, KY for veterinary care on July 23rd. Zig's foster-to-adopt fee is $250. Don't miss out on a chance to welcome him into your life!
