About Zeus

Meet Zeus, a loving two-year-old German Shepherd with personality as big as his ears. This gentle heart has not always had the care he deserves, spending much of his early life outside. Despite that, he's eager for affection, leaning in for belly rubs and showering his people with kisses. Zeus thrives on love and is ready to find his forever family. He enjoys the company of older children, but his enthusiasm can lead to accidental bumps, so he's not the best fit for little ones. He's still refining his manners and already knows commands like sit and lay down, plus we're working on shake. Zeus is selective about his furry friends, preferring smaller, submissive dogs and showing a distrust for large males. He hasn’t met any cats yet. Currently, he’s being treated for a tick-borne illness, which isn't contagious but will need a couple of vet check-ups. He’s slightly underweight, requiring high-quality puppy food to regain strength. As a German Shepherd, Zeus may have lifelong quirks that require understanding, including potential hip and back issues and a touch of anxiety. He needs an experienced owner who appreciates the complexities of his breed and can provide continued support. Once he trusts you, Zeus will be your loyal, goofy, and loving companion, ready to make you laugh and shower you with affection. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
