Dexter is a vibrant 8-year-old Poodle blend who embodies personality. Weighing in at 19 lbs, this quirky boy has a collection of amusing sounds that can rival any Jurassic Park pterodactyl! Squeaky toys and stuffed animals are his absolute favorites. He has a knack for fetch and will proudly bring his stuffie back for another round, demanding 10 to 15 throws before settling in for a well-deserved rest. Food is a motivator, and he'll happily encourage you with his funny “talk” while meals are being prepared. If you have a pool, he’s eager to hop onto his float and lounge beside you. Dexter has great leash manners and is reliable with outdoor potty breaks when on a consistent schedule. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and is friendly toward cats. Though he enjoys gentle affection from people of all ages, he would thrive best in a home with older children (8+) who know how to interact respectfully. A single-family home is ideal for this charming boy. He can be vocal at times and would prefer not to share walls in an apartment. He loves relaxing in the human bed at night and enjoys curling up for snuggles during weekends. Dexter is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and takes a low-dose calcium medication that he gobbles up like a treat. With his soft, thin coat needing grooming every 10-12 weeks, he’s a perfect gentleman in the tub and at grooming appointments. This lovable Poodley is ready to find his forever family.
