About Luna
Luna is a 1.5-year-old, 80-pound "velcro dog" who thrives on companionship and loves following her humans around the house. Incredibly sweet and friendly, she enjoys meeting new people, although her enthusiastic greetings can be a lot to handle since she sometimes forgets to keep all four paws on the ground. She’s eager to learn and is making great strides improving her manners. Luna gets along well with her 5-year-old foster brother and has had positive interactions with most other dogs she's met. However, she's still figuring out how to adjust her play style with smaller dogs, as she can be a bit heavy-handed. While she’s currently learning crate training and is tackling her separation anxiety, her house training record is impeccable—she knows that potty time is strictly outdoors. This active girl needs daily exercise and enrichment to keep her lively spirit in check. Luna would thrive with a family who enjoys regular walks and playtime. Though she was reportedly good with cats in her previous home, she has barked at her foster home's cat, so her long-term compatibility with felines is still a bit unsure. While untested with young children, her friendly nature suggests she would do best with older kids who can appreciate her size and playful demeanor. If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who simply wants to be by your side, Luna might just be the dog for you!
