Rescued from Miami-Dade Animal Services after sustaining a serious injury from a hit-and-run, Rufus has since undergone surgery and received all the love he deserves, making a full recovery. Rufus is the epitome of a loyal companion. He enjoys spending time cuddled up next to his favorite person rather than chasing after adventures. Although he can be shy initially, once he warms up, he becomes a devoted shadow, always by your side. This little fellow is dog-friendly and appreciates leisurely walks, trotting gracefully on a leash. Rufus thrives in a calm, loving home where his adopters are patient and willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Not one to seek the limelight, he primarily seeks a cozy couch, a loving family, and lifelong companionship.
