About Washington
Meet Washington! She was rescued back in 2024 when she was about 7 months old, initially thought to be a straightforward TNR case. After her spay appointment, she surprised everyone by showing how friendly she truly is. Given the opportunity, Washington blossomed in her foster home, learning to trust and enjoy the comforts of indoor life. Recently, Washington was surrendered back to us, though it was not her fault. One of the resident cats was aggressive, making it tough for her to feel safe. Yet, we believe she can thrive with the right feline companion; she previously lived harmoniously with a gentle cat friend. Currently, she enjoys being the solo queen in her foster home. Now around 3 years old, Washington is a stunning long-haired beauty with a soft, soulful presence. She bonds deeply, but only at her own pace. In a calm, patient home, she will truly shine. This affectionate girl loves gentle pets, curling up on the bed, tasty treats (her love language), and having her gorgeous long coat brushed. Once she trusts you completely, you can expect cozy lap time. Washington would thrive in a peaceful home with either a friendly, cuddly cat companion or as a solo kitty with a patient adopter who understands that her type of love is worth the wait. If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate friend and are willing to let her come to you in her own time, Washington could be your perfect match. Click apply to start the adoption process.
