About Magpie
Magpie is a sweet 10-month-old pittie mix currently weighing 35 pounds. She came to North Paw Rescue after spending nearly a month at a local shelter. Now, she’s discovering what life has to offer and making up for lost time. Magpie is incredibly friendly and greets everyone with enthusiasm. Her favorite activities include playing with squeaky toys, racing around the yard with her foster dog brother, and soaking up belly rubs. One adorable habit she has is flopping over on her back whenever she senses some petting is about to happen! She has been great with children, currently living with an elementary-aged child and loving the action. Because she’s still a young pup, she can get a bit jumpy when excited, so she'd thrive in a home with older kids who can appreciate her playful spirit. Magpie is making progress with potty training; monitoring her water intake has helped her develop good habits. She enjoys playing with other dogs and would appreciate having a canine companion in her forever home. While she hasn’t met any cats yet, she’s hopeful for some feline friends. Magpie is a loving, goofy best friend ready for new adventures. She needs a family to show her just how wonderful life outside the shelter can be.
