Finley is a 10-month-old, 35-pound white Pit Bull mix with a heart as big as his smile. This striking boy is neutered and up to date on vaccines, ready to find a family that will accept him for all his wonderful quirks. Although Finley is deaf, he’s a clever and affectionate pup who learns by observing other dogs. For this reason, a home with a confident, dog-friendly dog would be ideal to help him gain confidence and learn the ropes. He is crate trained and prefers a plastic crate, as he has figured out how to pee outside of a wire one. While he’s not fully housebroken yet, he is making impressive strides. Finley adores people and forms strong bonds with his family. He’s also beginning to discover the joy of toys by watching his furry friends play. His sweet, loving nature truly shines. He did face a growth plate injury as a puppy that healed on its own, resulting in a slightly shorter right femur and a mild deformity. This gives him a quirky gait, but it doesn’t hinder him, and his vets expect him to do well. To keep Finley safe while he enjoys the outdoors, a securely fenced yard is required.
