About Lila

To start the process, potential adopters must submit a complete written application. Lila’s journey began at a high-kill shelter where she was rescued just before euthanasia, and now she's thriving in foster care, quickly showing her gentle and affectionate nature. This lovely dog greets everyone with warmth and a wagging tail, approaching adults and children alike with kindness and patience. She is great with dogs of all sizes, cohabitating peacefully with another canine companion. While Lila has been bullied in the past, she's learned to read dog body language well and can adapt to various environments, whether as an only dog or in a home with one calm companion. Lila’s daily life is marked by calm, quiet companionship. She’s fully house trained, enjoys short walks, and has a very stable demeanor. She doesn’t bark and is quite content to settle nearby without constant attention. This affectionate girl is ready for a life filled with love and quiet moments with her new family.
