About Cleo
Meet Cleo! Cleo is an incredible 2-year-old black mouth cur mix who has shown immense resilience through her challenging past. After being abandoned, she became a loving mother to eight puppies, all of whom have found their homes. Now, it's her time to shine. This playful girl has an abundance of happy energy. She enjoys meeting new dog friends and radiates a sweet, joyful spirit. Cleo is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and makes a fantastic companion. Cleo would thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard, as she’s a talented jumper capable of clearing a 4-foot fence. She needs a family ready to provide the love and stability she has been missing. Cleo tends to feel uncertain when left alone for long periods, so she’s looking for a family who can help build her confidence and show that separation doesn’t mean abandonment. While she hasn't been tested with cats yet, her curiosity about them suggests a careful introduction would be necessary. Because of her playful nature, older kids would be ideal. Keep in mind, Cleo does get excited by bicycles and motorcycles, so a confident handler would be best for her walks. Cleo has been patient and loving, and now she deserves a family of her own.
