About Corky
Corky is a charming 4-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier, set to turn 4 in May. He faced tough times early in life after being abandoned at city hall in Texas, but his story took a positive turn when he was adopted alongside his sister. Unfortunately, a recent divorce left them homeless again. Corky, whose curly tail earned him his unique name, is a love bug who has developed a strong bond with his foster mom and thrives on human company. This smart boy enjoys his walks and is eager to learn new commands, motivated easily by treats. However, he requires a special kind of home. Corky must be the only dog because he is very animal reactive and does not get along with other animals, save for his sister. An ideal environment would include a secure, fenced yard and no small children. Though he may be cautious in dog parks, he is never aggressive towards humans. Fostered in Texas, Corky is ready to find a forever home that appreciates his unique needs and temperament. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
