About Gerti
Gerti is a sweet soul looking for a second chance at life. This medium-sized female, a Jack Russell Terrier, has found herself in rescue after being picked up multiple times as a lost dog. Unfortunately, her previous owners don’t want her back, but we believe Gerti deserves a warm and loving home where she can finally settle down. She does well with other dogs, making her an ideal companion for a multi-pet household. However, her compatibility with cats and children is still a mystery, so a careful introduction would be wise. While we recommend training for all dogs, it will greatly benefit Gerti as she transitions into her new life. Magnificent Mutts is an all-foster rescue, meaning potential adopters must meet Gerti by appointment with the whole family present. Make sure your current pets are healthy and your housing situation allows for a new furry family member. If you could be the one to provide Gerti with the loving home she deserves, don’t hesitate to reach out. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
