About Baby Bear
Meet Baby Bear! This charming 2-year-old Pomeranian tips the scales at about 8 pounds. His fluffy coat gives him an extra soft look, making him appear even larger. Baby Bear has a calm, gentle spirit and an easygoing nature that makes him an ideal companion. If you’re searching for a loyal friend who values the simple joys in life, Baby Bear could be your match. Prior to rescue, Baby Bear spent his days as a breeding stud dog. Unfortunately, this means he missed many of the experiences that foster confidence and teach a dog what it means to be part of a loving family. While he’s making strides every day, he can still be a bit shy when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations. Baby Bear needs a patient family committed to respecting his boundaries and allowing him to navigate the world at his own pace. Once he feels secure, his sweet and affectionate nature shines through. He loves being close to those he trusts, quietly melting into your heart as a loyal companion. Each little victory in his journey to confidence is a rewarding experience, and watching him grow is truly special. Baby Bear gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has shown he can thrive with cats too. While he’s primarily experienced with smaller dogs, we believe that with slow introductions, he would adapt well to larger canine companions. He is crate trained and sleeps soundly in his crate each night, and he’s doing very well with house training. He tends to go outside reliably when kept on a consistent schedule. Neutered and up to date on vaccinations, Baby Bear will come with a health certificate before adoption. He is healthy, happy, and ready to find a forever home filled with love. After spending too long being valued for his utility, Baby Bear is now looking for a family who will love him unconditionally. If you have a gentle heart and the patience to help this deserving dog continue to flourish, he will reward you with a bond that’s truly one of a kind. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
