This roly-poly little guy came to us as a community surrender and is now on the mend from ringworm—a treatable condition requiring some extra care right now. He'll be back to full health soon, and you won’t want to miss out on this bundle of joy. Born around mid-April, Spud is likely a Bullmastiff mix and could grow to about 60 pounds. He already shows the lovable and loyal personality traits intrinsic to Bullmastiffs, although he might throw in a stubborn streak or two. This playful puppy enjoys cuddling and goes from bursts of energy to lounging around the house, making him a medium-energy companion. He’s still figuring things out—like potty training and crate training—but he’s making good progress, helped along by a consistent schedule. Spud adores people and is eager to play, so an owner with experience in large breeds would be ideal. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster home and, despite his enthusiasm, would likely do well with dog-savvy cats. Children might be a little overwhelming for him right now, but older kids would be a better match as he grows into his size.
