About Sanibel and Amelia

Sanibel and Amelia are a pair of bonded color-point kittens, rescued from a TNR project in Florida. At just 4 months old, both are Siamese mixes with distinct personalities that complement each other perfectly. Amelia is the shyer of the two, often hesitant to approach new things. However, when she feels safe, she transforms into a playful kitten who loves exploring her surroundings. Amelia can be gently petted, and she'll start purring when she’s comfortable. She does need some time and patience to continue building trust, which her sister Sanibel helps facilitate. Sanibel, on the other hand, is outgoing and social. She plays an essential role in reassuring Amelia, showing her that the world can be a safe place. Sanibel enjoys interacting with people and loves gentle handling, especially belly rubs. Their bond is strong, and it's vital for both to be adopted together, as they thrive on the comfort they provide each other. Both sisters are FIV and FeLV negative and up to date on vaccinations. Spaying is included in their adoption fee. These affectionate kittens will be in New York by late July, ready to find their forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
