Fortunately, she wasn't pregnant, but she is heartworm positive and has already begun treatment using the slow kill method. Currently, Alba lives with her foster mom, two dogs, and six cats, and she’s adjusting well. Her primary challenge is separation anxiety; she may need to be heavily crated while you're away to avoid any damage to your home, like destroyed curtains or blinds.
