Meet Lilac! Are you looking for a gentle soul who just needs a little time to blossom? Lilac is a shy girl learning to embrace the world, especially with loving humans by her side. She found her courage alongside her foster brother, a resident male dog she adores. Their playful wrestling helps her open up, but she remains reserved with new people and will thrive best in a home with patient adopters who allow her to set her own pace. Give Lilac a backyard, and you’ll see her transform the space into her personal racetrack. She loves sprinting around, still mastering her long puppy legs. This girl is teething, so rawhides and stuffed toys keep her entertained for hours. On leash walks, Lilac shines—she is a pro, relishing every new smell and sight. Mealtime is a highlight for her; she enjoys her wet and dry food and lights up during treat time. Lilac is also a true cuddler, becoming a velcro dog with her people. After a day filled with play, she loves curling up with her family at night. A few important notes: Lilac is almost fully house trained, facing occasional accidents mainly overnight, as she's not yet kennel trained. Could you be her forever family? All puppies are in foster care, so we require an approved application before arranging a meet-and-greet with the foster family. If interested, please fill out the application on the H.O.P.E website. Upon approval, we will contact you with the foster home information. There’s no obligation to apply and no cost. Basic obedience training classes are mandatory for all puppies, and H.O.P.E will contribute $50 towards the cost of classes. A refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of adoption to ensure completion of the training. Lilac will be up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered once old enough, and come with a 30-day health certificate.
