About Scottie
Meet Scottie! This sweet and playful Australian Shepherd mix is about a year old and is eager to find her forever home. Initially a bit shy, Scottie comes alive with affection once she feels comfortable. Her adorable "smile" and cuddly nature will bring joy to your life. Scottie maintains a moderate energy level and weighs around 40 lbs. She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves taking walks in the park. Although she’s still gaining confidence in new settings and can get overwhelmed in busy places, she's progressing well under her foster family's care. With no food aggression towards other dogs or people, feeding her separately is recommended since she loves to sample snacks from nearby bowls. While we are unsure how she interacts with cats, Scottie would thrive in a household with older or dog-savvy children who understand that she needs a little time to adjust. A loving and patient family committed to her growth would be ideal. If you’re on the lookout for a loyal, cuddly companion, Scottie might be the perfect addition to your family!
