About Taylor
Taylor's story began in October 2024 when she appeared on a rural property in Wapato with her nine puppies. The property owner, unwilling to provide care, left them exposed to the elements. Thankfully, rescue stepped in to help. After spending a year in rescue, Taylor found a home but was recently returned due to low-level nipping behaviors when unfamiliar individuals approached her space. With a newborn and frequent visitors, her adopters felt they couldn’t provide the training and management she needed. Now, Taylor seeks an experienced home familiar with large working breeds. This loving girl needs someone who understands the importance of honoring her boundaries while allowing her to build trust. She's well-liked among volunteers and enjoys walks and outdoor adventures. Taylor is intelligent and affectionate, with excellent household manners; she doesn't counter surf or bother the kitchen. Although she can share space with other dogs, she prefers being the only dog in the home. Taylor is house-trained, settles nicely in a kennel, and can be chatty when left alone, making her best suited for a family home. She'll thrive in a house with a securely fenced yard, especially since she has a high prey drive and can't be placed with cats or small animals. This dedicated companion is waiting for a family ready to give her the time and understanding she deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
