Meet Agnes, an approximately 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing around 35 pounds. This beautiful girl has a gentle soul and is ready to find the loving home she's always deserved. After being found as a stray at a local shelter, Agnes came into rescue, where she was spayed and had several mammary tumors removed. Thankfully, the biopsies came back benign, and she's now healthy and ready for her next chapter. Agnes is a little shy initially and needs time to settle into new surroundings, but once she feels safe, her affectionate personality shines. She's a true Velcro dog who loves being close to her people, following them from room to room, gently asking for cuddles, and giving the sweetest kisses. Completely house-trained, she walks beautifully on a leash and is crate-trained, although she'd prefer not to be confined. Agnes enjoys lounging on her trampoline bed, soaking up the sunshine, and would love a securely fenced yard for exploration. Though she has plenty of energy, she enjoys daily walks or hikes with her family. Agnes gets along with other dogs but appreciates slow introductions as she builds confidence. She has been tested around cats and shows no interest in them. Due to her timid nature, she would thrive in a home with older children or adults only. Her ideal family will be present throughout the day, ready to provide her with the love and reassurance she needs to continue blossoming.
