AvailableHalo is a beautiful American Eskimo, about 4.5 years old. She is a small breed with a long, lovely coat in white and cream. This affectionate girl is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Though not yet spayed, Halo is looking for a dedicated owner who understands her needs. She currently resides in Port Orange, FL.
About Halo
Meet Halo. Halo is a 4.5-year-old American Eskimo looking for an experienced and patient home where she can truly thrive. A few months ago, her owner sought to rehome her, and time was of the essence as she faced an impending move. We stepped in to ensure Halo found a safe haven. When she first arrived, Halo was scared and unsure, likely due to a lack of socialization in her previous life. Initially defensive, she found solace in her crate until she realized she was safe. Once settled, Halo revealed her sweet nature. She loves to cuddle and would happily spend all day in your lap if you let her. Her charming personality shone through during her veterinary visit, where she handled the crowd with grace. Over time, she learned to approach new people more confidently, though she did have a brief defensiveness toward a young child during a walk. After moving to a foster home, Halo became territorial with the resident American Eskimo, likely exacerbated by being in heat and not yet spayed. Although affectionate with her foster family, sharing space was a challenge. Returned to us, she lives alongside dogs of various sizes and does well, though she can exhibit a bit of bossiness at times. Halo would do best in a home with older children and adults, ideally as the only dog or possibly with one other dog. She needs someone who can provide trust and consistency. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to love her person, Halo might fill that role perfectly. She truly is a wonderful dog. Ready to fall in love?
