About Cosby

Meet Cosby, a smart and playful puppy whose heart is as big as his floppy ears. This estimated 14- to 16-week-old shepherd/cattle dog mix was found abandoned along a highway in Texas and has flourished since being rescued. Cosby is incredibly affectionate and loves being around people and other animals. He thrives in the company of other dogs and has shown he can get along well with both cats and kids. Always up for a run or playtime, he's making great progress with crate training, house training, and leash walking. Plus, he’s already figured out how to use a doggie door. Cosby is expected to grow into a lovely medium-sized dog, around 40-60 pounds. As a herding breed mix, he brings plenty of intelligence and energy, so he'd do best with an active family willing to provide ongoing training, exercise, and enrichment. Experience with herding breeds is preferred for potential adopters. Fully vetted and neutered, Cosby is ready for his forever home. He has received all his vaccines, tested negative on a fecal exam, is microchipped, and has been cleared for adoption. If you're looking for a walking buddy, an adventure companion, or simply a loyal friend, Cosby could be just the match for you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
