About Amelia

Amelia, affectionately known as Millie, is ready for her forever home! This sweet and playful 6-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix has shown remarkable resilience. Though she arrived at the rescue in rough shape, she's currently healing beautifully from some skin issues. A few bald spots remain, especially on her head, but they only enhance her charming, goofy character. Weighing about 30 pounds now, Millie is expected to grow to between 45-55 pounds. She does great in her kennel and car rides. With a consistent routine, she is mostly potty trained and has a social personality; her favorite pastime is playing with other dogs in her foster home. While she hasn't been around children or cats yet, her friendly nature suggests she could adapt well. This bubbly girl is eager to join a family that will love her for who she is! Amelia's adoption fee is $300, which covers her spay, microchip with registration, vaccinations, and flea and heartworm preventatives. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
