Meet Ruffles! Ruffles is a 10-month-old teacup pittie, weighing just 35 pounds, but her heart is definitely full-sized. This sweet girl is a velcro dog who loves to follow her humans everywhere. She’s affectionate and gentle, yet enjoys playtime with her dog friends, often engaging in fun rough-and-tumble games. When playtime is over, Ruffles is more than happy to curl up beside you and showcase her snuggling talents. Ruffles is car-friendly, crate trained, and mastering her leash skills. She’s house trained and has a repertoire of excellent companion skills. This little pup craves companionship and simply wants to love and be loved. Her journey began sadly when she was abandoned at an RV park in Austin, Texas. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan rescued her, and despite her rough start, Ruffles has remained sweet and trusting. She is mostly deaf but cleverly compensates by being very observant, picking up on movements and vibrations around her. While she might not react to sounds like fireworks or doorbells, she knows exactly when her humans are home and is always the first at the door to greet them. Ruffles is fully vetted; she’s spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Her temperament makes her adaptable to various households, from families with toddlers to seniors. She doesn’t require a fenced yard, as her off-leash skills are impressive. She stays close and does not have a high prey drive.
