Ready for a loyal sidekick to join you on life's adventures? Meet Copilot! This handsome brown and cream Shepherd mix is just over a year old and is looking for a patient, loving family to help him settle into his forever home. Copilot is still exploring the world around him, so we don’t yet know how he interacts with kids, other dogs, or cats. To help ensure a smooth transition, meet-and-greets are necessary with all potential family members and any dogs already in the home. Thoughtful introductions will help Copilot feel secure and confident with his new family. As a young Shepherd mix, Copilot is entering one of life's rewarding stages. Shepherds are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong bond with their people. They thrive when given a task, be it learning commands, exploring hiking trails, or engaging in interactive games. Given his breed, Copilot needs a family devoted to physical exercise and mental stimulation every day. Training sessions, puzzle toys, scent games, and regular walks will keep his mind active and build his confidence. Shepherds learn quickly and respond well to positive, consistent training. Like many young Shepherds, Copilot may require some time to adjust to new people, places, and routines. With patience, structure, and encouragement, he will gain confidence and exhibit the loyal, devoted personality typical of Shepherd mixes.
