About Fiona

Fiona is an amazing 2-year-old Pit Bull weighing 38 lbs, and her journey has been nothing short of heart-wrenching. Before she came to rescue, Fiona endured remarkable hardship while living on the streets, heavily pregnant and scavenging for survival. Just two days after her arrival, she gave birth to ten puppies and dedicated herself to their care, even while severely malnourished. Tragedy struck when Fiona developed mastitis, leading to hospitalization, and only two of her ten puppies survived despite her tireless efforts. Later, a serious infection post-spay surgery sent her back to the hospital. Through every painful chapter, Fiona remained trusting and hopeful. Today, she is healthy and finally embracing what it means to live joyfully. Fiona is affectionate, loyal, and craves deep bonds with her people. She walks beautifully on a leash and has excellent recall, enjoying supervised off-leash time. While Fiona does get along with dogs, she should not be placed in homes with smaller breeds due to a past incident. Fiona deserves a loving home where she will never have to question her safety. If you're ready to offer a loving environment to this resilient girl, Fiona is excited to meet you.
