About Mira
Mira had a tough start as a stray in Central Valley. Upon her arrival at the shelter, she was emaciated and diagnosed with diabetes, which put her on the euthanasia list due to a lack of resources for treatment. Thankfully, a caring volunteer recognized her plight and took her into foster care. Mira is almost completely blind, yet she navigates new spaces with courage, relying on her human companions for guidance. She is friendly with other dogs and is starting to learn about living with cats. Despite her challenges, Mira remains a cheerful and affectionate dog, often believing sheβs a lap dog.
