About Griff
Meet Griff, a spirited approximately 5-year-old neutered German Shepherd-Pit mix who is eagerly searching for a new home. Life has thrown some challenges at his current owners, and they're unable to provide him the attention he deserves. Despite the changes, Griff remains happy and healthy. He enjoys exercise, walks with friends, and cozying up on the sofa. Griff's past was tough; he was abandoned at a construction site in 2021, tied up and left alone. Since then, he's shown himself to be a loyal and intelligent companion who loves hikes, backpacking, and playing fetch. He’s crate trained, leash trained, and does well at home while left alone. However, Griff comes with some behavioral quirks due to his earlier experiences. He can be reactive with new people and dogs, so he thrives in structured environments. With the right approach and routine, he can befriend other dogs and accept new humans. He is not suitable for families with young children or cats. Griff needs a savvy, active owner who understands his needs. If that sounds like you, reach out about Griff. He’s located in Stagecoach, NV, and his current owners are willing to travel for the right fit. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
