Bentley is a big boy who really needs a strong handler. Weighing in at nearly 80 lbs, he has quite the presence and requires a high-protein diet to maintain his weight. Having been surrendered due to a move, he didn’t learn many manners during his early years. Although he’s started to pick up basic commands like 'sit' and is learning to wait for his food, he still has a lot of energy that needs to be managed. An active home with a nice fenced yard will be perfect for him to play and burn off energy safely. Bentley loves playing with toys—just be aware that his enthusiasm can be a bit overwhelming. He has shown kennel aggression, so it’s best to avoid reaching through fences to interact with him. On the bright side, he greets people well and doesn’t show aggression outside of that kennel behavior. If you’re ready to invest time into training and socializing Bentley, he might just be the goofy companion you’re looking for. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
