About Bert
Bert is a handsome 5-month-old Great Pyrenees with that unmistakable GP personality. He carries a bit of the classic stubbornness and has a keen awareness of boundaries, especially when it comes to his food. Having spent much of his early life on a farm, Bert has interacted with various animals and is quite independent. It's important to note that he can resource guard his food, so feeding him separately from other pets and young children during meals is recommended. Bert is nearly potty trained, having had most of his life outside, but he might still have the occasional accident. He gets along well with both cats and dogs, making him a social companion in a multi-pet household. If you're seeking a confident and food-motivated friend, Bert is ready to join your family. This dog is currently being fostered in Texas but is available for adoption and transport out of state. As a Raising The Bar Animal Rescue direct adoption, the interview and meet-and-greet occur via video call. Ready to make Bert a part of your life?
