About Mochi
Meet Mochi, a sweet and gentle Wire-Haired Terrier mix looking for her forever home alongside her bonded partner, Cricket. These resilient girls have faced immense challenges, emerging stronger and ready to share their love with a new family. Mochi, over 7 years old and weighing 14 lbs, is the confident half of this duo. With a calm demeanor, she’s a true cuddle bug who quietly watches over Cricket. Despite a heart murmur, which is asymptomatic and managed with medication, Mochi is in great spirits. She loves her frozen Kongs, is great on a leash, and embodies loyalty. Cricket, at over 8 years and 13 lbs, is a gentle Chihuahua who thrives on Mochi’s confidence. Having overcome a large hernia and a damaged eye, she is now living pain-free and eagerly accepts affection. Together, these two offer a perfect balance of calmness and companionship. They’re looking for a stable home with a fenced yard and ideally no small children. While Mochi is still learning about house training, she shows promise. They must stay together, as their bond provides crucial support for each other.
